From a Shared History to a Shared Future: Partizan x Sangal

As we enter the second quarter of 2025, the next big step for Sangal is League of Legends. By merging with Partizan, one of the strongest representatives from the Balkans, we step into the LoL scene.

This merger is the meeting of two teams from the same region with a shared history. Sangal has become a strategic partner in this project by acquiring 50% of Partizan Esports’ League of Legends team.

I am truly honored to announce that we are stepping into the League of Legends arena in strategic collaboration with a club as prestigious as Partizan. This partnership is not just the union of two brands; it is also an opportunity to open a new chapter in the esports world, fueled by our historical connections and shared vision. As Sangal, our goal is to further advance the experience we’ve gained over the years and our strong position in the local ecosystem to the international stage. This step will not only allow Sangal to reach a wider audience globally, but it will also enable us to maximize our potential in the League of Legends scene. On this new journey, together with Partizan, we are determined to achieve sustainable success and leave a lasting mark on the future of esports.

Why now? Why LoL?

For Sangal, which has been competing in the CS2 scene for years, it’s an opportunity to test and expand the brand’s value in a different region. The LoL scene holds significant potential, both in terms of content creation, and bringing that potential to life with the energy of two teams from different markets means creating a more sustainable structure.

Today, as Partizan, we are starting a new era together with Sangal. We are not only focused on sporting success; we are also creating great opportunities to further strengthen the vision of both clubs on a global scale. This step will be a significant milestone not just in the Balkans, but for our impact worldwide. Together, we are confident that we will achieve successes that will leave a lasting mark on the international stage as Partizan Sangal.

Jovan Mijailovic, President of Partizan Esports

What’s next for Sangal fans?

In the upcoming period, we’re building a structure expected to grow with joint merchandise efforts, content projects, and more brand collaborations. We’ve already begun working together to maximize the potential of the League of Legends team in the European arena. By leveraging the slot advantage in the Balkan region, we aim to compete in the biggest League of Legends tournaments in this level as soon as possible.
